Recycling

Help the environment and save money by filling your recycling barrel! The more we recycle the less we pay to get rid of our trash.

Single-Stream Recycling (Automated Collection)

The town provides each residence with a large blue colored barrel for recyclables which can be rolled to the street. Recyclables are picked up every other week. Please consult the Curbside Collection Schedule for a street-by-street listing.

Connecticut now has a universal list of what belongs in your recycling bin and what doesn’t. All items should be empty, rinsed, clean and open. Do not shred, box, bag or bundle. The guide below shows "What's IN?" and "What's OUT?"
